The 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage was first introduced at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show with a refreshed look and interior updates. Now available for sale, the 2017 Mirage has plenty of upgrades over the previous model year, at the same low starting price of $12,995 for the manual and $14,195 for the CVT.
With a more stylish front end including a redesigned grille and fascia, the 2017 Mirage has better looks and the same convenient small size. The perfect city car, the Mirage has the smallest turn radius in its class, the best non-hybrid fuel economy on the market, and a surprising amount of cargo space for its size. It also has new LED lights, improved wheels, and a restyled rear bumper and spoilers.
With larger brakes and a retuned suspension, the Mirage’s 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine gets a slight boost, bringing it up to 78 horsepower. It’s safer than ever and still offers outstanding handling, with great cornering and more braking power.
The new Mirage comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard, which let you connect your mobile device through the touchscreen infotainment system and use navigation, music, and messaging apps using voice activation technology.
Though it’s a subcompact, the Mirage is plenty roomy inside with ample legroom and a spacious backseat. Its four-door design allows passengers to get into and out of the backseat with ease, and the 60/40-split folding rear seats give you plenty of extra cargo space. The Mirage also comes with convenient features like push-button start and automatic climate control.
And that’s not all—the Mirage also comes with Mitsubishi’s industry-leading warranty, the acclaimed 10-year or 100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty. In terms of safety technology, the Mirage’s available backup camera system, special Mitsubishi RISE body, and Active Stability Control all make the Mirage a safe, reliable vehicle to drive in any conditions.
